"I am SOOOO busy!"

"I am SOOOO busy!"
How many times have you used this phrase over the past few weeks?

Me? I've used it a ton because our calendar has been jam packed with graduations, events, and end of the year celebrations.

If we're being honest, I tend to use the phrase "I'm so busy" as an excuse or crutch to not prioritize my time and do what I know I need to be doing.

"Busyness" makes missing a workout feel justified. "Busyness" makes ordering takeout feel like a weight off your shoulders.

If we're being honest with ourselves, we are actually always busy.

As employees, moms, students, spouses, we always have a lot on our plates.

I think we all hope or dream of a day when our schedules are clear for the foreseeable future and we're living easy, breezy.

The reality is that unfortunately, it is only that - a hope or dream.

There will never be a perfect time to start. There will never be a "less busy" time to choose what's important to you.

SO JUST START NOW.

Imagine if you can start prioritizing yourself amidst the "busy".

Imagine if you can take hold of the busyness be intentional about prioritizing what's most important to you.

Supporting your kids at their sport events. Taking a trip with your spouse. Completing a work project. Studying for finals. All very important things that we should prioritize...

BUT -

You deserve to put yourself at the same priority level.
