Five Ways to GYAO with Your Kids
Happy Summertime! ☀️😎
As we all know, Vitamin D and fresh air work wonders for the body!

They help reduce stress, boost our mood, and improve immune function —just to name a few benefits.

Lexi is the GYAO (Get Your A** Outside) Queen, and even though the temperatures are heating up, don’t forget to carve out time to GYAO and soak up all of Earth’s natural benefits!

And remember — getting outside is just as important for our kiddos as it is for us adults. So grab your favorite tiny humans and try out these five fun ways to GYAO together this summer:

1. Hit the pool
Who doesn’t love a good pool day? Between treading water, chasing your kids, and carrying all the pool gear, you’ll burn some serious calories while making core memories.

2. Early morning workout outside
We know it gets hot fast, and it’s not always easy to get your little ones outside. But the earlier you go, the cooler it’ll be! Grab a water bottle, clip on a stroller fan, and squeeze in that movement before the day gets away from you.

3. After-dinner walk
Not an early bird? No problem! Take an after-dinner walk with the family. Walking helps with digestion plus you'll get all those GYAO benefits. It’s a win-win.

4. Yard work
Hear me out — sometimes yard work just has to be done. It might not be super fun, but your kids don’t know that yet! Get them involved! Have them help water the plants, race to pick up the most sticks, or straight up race them from one chore to the next. Make it a game, and everyone is bound to have more fun.

5. Classic, old-school play time
Playtime is one of the best ways to GYAO and move your body. Think hopscotch, water balloon fights, water guns, tag, or just good old-fashioned running around. Nothing will make your child happier than you giving them your full attention and simply playing.

However you choose to GYAO this summer, I hope you have fun, stay safe, and remember this:

Your kids don’t care what the scale says.
They don’t care how you look in a swimsuit.
What they do care about is the time you spend with them, the memories you create, and the fact that you can do fun things together.

So get outside, get moving, and make it a summer to remember. ☀️🫶🏻
