Meet Lexi G: The LJW Team Member Who Was a Member Before She Was on the Team

Hello, welcome back to the LJW Mini Podcast! Today we have our very lovely and special guest, Lexi G.

And before we even got started, Lexi G had something important to share.

"Okay, wait. Actually, it was on my 2026 goal list to be on a podcast. So, I'm counting this."

Check. It. Off.

This episode is a little different — instead of a full intro, we had one specific question of the day: how did you hear about Lexi J Wellness? Because Lexi G's story isn't just a team member story. It's a community story first.

How She Found LJW

"I heard about Lexi J Wellness. I was in nursing school and during nursing school, you're focused on everything like but taking care of yourself."

There was a girl in her nursing school class who just looked really good. Lexi G noticed.

"I was like, 'Hey, what are you doing? What are you up to?' And she told me it was like Lexi J Wellness."

(That's us, for those keeping track.)

"And so I bought the subscription and haven't looked back since. It was love at first sight."

The Honest Reason She Started

What made her actually want to take care of herself? She didn't hesitate.

"I just want to be hot. I'm being honest with you guys. I'm not going to lie to you. That was my first thought. I was like, that girl looks good. She looks hot. I want to look hot."

"It's obviously become a lot more than that to me. But like that was my — that's what got me hooked first."

And she was right to be honest about it. As Leslie pointed out, that's true for most people.

"I'll be honest with you guys, you got to do both, right? Majority of the time we want to look good and that's what gets us started. But I do think 100% of the time people stick around because of how it makes them feel."

"That's why I really wanted to get started first was just to like look good. And then it obviously transformed a lot more into just feeling good mentally, physically, being a better person all around."

Before She Joined the Team, She Was Deep in the Community

Before Lexi G ever worked at LJW, she was already one of its most active community members. And the reason she dove in runs deeper than just workouts.

"I struggled a lot and I feel like this is hard to believe now because I have such good relationships with women because of this community, but before then I struggled a lot with forming connections with women. High school was hard. It's hard to get along with some people that don't have the same lifestyle that you have or standards, things like that."

Then she found the LJW community.

"I saw all these girls, hundreds of girls getting along and I'm like, what is happening? How do I do that?"

So she did something about it — she dove deep into the Facebook group, started commenting on posts, following along on Instagram, and eventually working up the courage to show up to events in person.

"Once I worked up the courage to do that, yeah, it just all flooded together and the community is just what kept me coming back for more."

The Domino Effect

What kept her showing up wasn't just the workouts — it was the way the community poured into her.

"I have had girls that like Venmo me for coffee. They like see my post-workout comment and I'm like oh it's just been a long day but I'm glad I got this done. Next morning I'll wake up to a $5 Venmo and you're just a random person, have a better day today."

"And I'm like, I've never even met this person in real life, but they care so much about me and my wellbeing that they're willing to do that. And that just makes you want to do it back."

"It's like the domino effect. It just keeps rippling. People pour into you, you pour into other people. And it feels good both ways."

What Lexi G Actually Does at LJW

Leslie's words: "I think we did something bad and we didn't even talk about what you do here."

Lexi G came prepared with a list — which she says wasn't to brag but because her job description is genuinely hard to explain.

"I do so much random stuff at Lexi J Wellness. Whenever my grandparents ask me what I do, it's not clocking to them what I do half the time. They're like, 'You do what? You work out for a living?' I'm like, 'Yes.'"

Her actual explanation: "I am very front-facing on the camera side of things. You will see me on your screen, but I'm also behind the camera doing just a bunch of these little itty bitty nitty gritty things."

The list she brought:

Recording workouts with Lexi J, editing and uploading the videos. A lot inside the Facebook group — approving new members, helping them get started, sending messages, approving and scheduling posts. Merch operations: counting, organizing, shipping. Writing happy mail and love letters.

"I love continuing to pour back into the community because like we talked about earlier, that's really what got me started and kept me going."

Leslie's summary: "Lexi G is a dog. She just literally doesn't."

"It's so fun to do whatever is needed because you love doing it. You get it."

They both get it. "We love who we work for, who we work with, and so you're just willing to do whatever."

"To the moon, baby."

One Unorthodox Thing You're Grateful For

Lexi G comes to this question every Monday — so she was well versed.

After a long dramatic pause: tick repellent collars on dogs.

"Ticks are bad, dude. Just the fact that someone really thought, I'm going to invent this collar that repels ticks from your dog."

"Yes, they are so bad. My dogs had like thousands of seed ticks on them. I hate ticks. Despise."

"Get them out of my sight."

An inventor changed the world. And Lexi G is grateful.
