Halloween season means candy is everywhere. In the office, on the counter, in your kids' backpacks, and somehow always within arm's reach at 9pm.
We are not here to tell you to skip it. We are here to give you something so good you might actually choose it instead.
These three treats are macro-friendly, easy to make, and taste like the real thing. Consider this your Halloween treat table upgrade. 🎃
1. Chocolate Protein Bites
These little bites taste like a Tootsie Roll had a glow-up. Rich, chocolatey, and packed with protein — they are dangerous in the best possible way.

- Place in the fridge until the chocolate is set. Store refrigerated and enjoy!
2. Strawberry Yogurt Bark
This one looks like candy, tastes like candy, and comes together in about 10 minutes of active time. The hardest part is waiting for it to freeze.
Makes: ~10 pieces Macros per piece: ~55 calories | 4g protein | 7g carbs | 1g fat
Ingredients:
- 2 cups nonfat plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced thin
- ¼ cup Lily's white chocolate chips, melted
- Optional: freeze dried strawberries for extra crunch
Directions:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
- Spread the yogurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer, about ¼ inch thick.
- Arrange the sliced fresh strawberries evenly across the top.
- Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the strawberries.
- Add freeze dried strawberries on top if using.
- Freeze for at least 2 hours or until completely set.
- Break into pieces and serve straight from the freezer. Store in a freezer-safe bag for up to 2 weeks.
Tip: Use Lily's white chocolate chips to keep the sugar lower without losing that sweet, creamy drizzle.
3. Cottage Cheese Cookie Dough Bites
Yes, cottage cheese. No, you cannot taste it. These bites are creamy, sweet, and taste exactly like the cookie dough you used to sneak out of the bowl growing up — except these actually have protein in them.
Makes: ~15 bites Macros per bite: ~74 calories | 5g protein | 7g carbs | 2g fat
Ingredients:
- 1 cup full fat cottage cheese
- ½ cup almond flour
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- ¼ cup Lily's semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
- Add the cottage cheese to a blender or food processor and blend until completely smooth. This step is important — blend until there are no curds left.
- Transfer to a bowl and stir in the almond flour, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until a thick dough forms.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop into approximately 15 bite-sized balls and place on a parchment-lined plate or baking sheet.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving so they firm up.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Tip: If the dough feels too soft to roll, add a little more almond flour one tablespoon at a time until it holds its shape.
Whether you make one or all three, these are the kind of treats that make staying on track feel a lot less like a sacrifice and a lot more like a choice you actually want to make.
