It’s that time of year again! 🏫

We’re back in full swing with school drop-offs, after-school activities, and homework help. Plus your regular job duties and the daily promises you’ve made to yourself to get that workout in and hit your macros.

Whew! It’s a lot to balance. But if there’s one thing the LJW crew knows, it’s how to do hard things and make them work for our goals.


That’s why I’m here with a few low-effort, macro-friendly crockpot chicken recipes that will help you hit your protein goal, save your evenings, and help you stick to your plan no matter how busy life can feel.
 
When time’s tight, the last thing you need is a complicated dinner plan. So here’s my solution for back-to-school chaos: low effort + macro-friendly crockpot recipes that quite literally cook themselves.
 
💡Pro Tip: You can also freeze these recipes pre-made. Just thaw overnight, pop them in the crockpot in the morning, and you’re golden. 
  • They also make amazing gifts for a fellow macro-conscious friend (new moms, grieving families, or anyone in a busy season).

 

Instructions for all recipes:
Combine all ingredients in crockpot, set to low, and let cook for 6 hours. That's it!

🌮 Creamy Salsa Chicken
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 jar salsa
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
Macros (per 3 oz | ~½ breast): 161 cal | 28g protein | 3g carbs | 3g fat
Meal Ideas: tacos, burrito bowls, quesadillas
 
🥢 Teriyaki Chicken
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
Macros (per 3 oz | ~½ breast): 178 cal | 26g protein | 9g carbs | 3g fat
Meal Ideas: over Asian salad or rice bowl with roasted veggies
 
🥗 Creamy Ranch Chicken
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 ranch packet
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
Macros (per 3 oz | ~½ breast): 169 cal | 28g protein | 1g carbs | 5g fat
Meal Ideas: chicken bacon ranch wrap, over salad, or as a protein pizza topping
